About the Talent Terrace
Think about a recent conference you attended where you had the most engaging conversations away from the formal event, say, out on the terrace. I hope that you find this blog to be such a place.
It is a destination for recruiters, HR professionals, and business leaders to gather around recruiting and talent management discussions. I hope that you’ll find some “ah-ha” moments worthy of taking for a test drive back at the shop, especially for those in small to mid-sized businesses without a full-time, dedicated internal recruiting expert on the team. This blog purely reflects my opinions and not those of any other individuals, organizations or employers.
If a post resonates with you, please share a comment using your professional judgement when contributing to the conversation. Approval to comment isn’t required; however, comments are moderated. Hateful, inflammatory, illegal, offensive or derogatory comments will be deleted. I’ll do my best to respond quickly.
About Sue Corralz
While I’m “on the job”, I’m a senior recruiting consultant working to identify, attract and retain top talent. When I’m not thinking about sourcing, talking with hiring managers, and helping colleagues network, I’m usually pitching in around the local soccer fields or training for an upcoming road race. I’m never too far from a cup of coffee and the latest edition of Inc. magazine.
I arrived at this recruiter place via 19 years of experience in HR specialist and generalist leadership roles in global corporations (Mercer, Nestle, Hewitt, Quest Diagnostics) and small entrepreneurial start ups. San Francisco, Chicago, and Newport Beach are some of the fantastic cities I’ve worked in.
In 2003, I discovered the buzz about the phenomenal convergence of technology and recruiting through some very generous subject matter experts. Since then, I’ve specialized in talent acquisition in corporate recruiting and executive search agency settings.
